Your wedding should sound like the two of you. Not like everyone else's.
I sit down with the people who know you best: your partner, your family, the friends who were there from the start. Then I write what they tell me into a ceremony that's unmistakably yours.
The truest things about you live in other people's memories.
The way your sister describes you. The story your best friend always tells. The thing your dad noticed first. Most officiants only ever meet the couple. So they reach for the lines everyone has heard a hundred times.
I do the opposite. With your blessing, I gather the story from the people around you, then write it into the ceremony itself. That's the part most people skip. It's also the part that makes guests cry at the things that are true.
We build it together
Unlimited back-and-forth and real revisions. You read and shape the script before the day, so nothing in your ceremony is a surprise.
Told by the people who know you
I interview your partner, family, and closest friends, and write from what they tell me. So it sounds like your actual life, not a template with your names dropped in.
The legal part is handled
I'm an ordained, licensed California officiant, and I file the marriage license. You stay present in the moment; I make sure it counts.
I might not be the right fit if…
- …you want a quick, read-from-a-card ceremony and you've already written the script.
- …you're shopping mainly on price.
- …you want the flashiest production in the room more than the most personal one.
- …you'd rather keep your family and friends out of the making of it.
If you read that and thought "that's not us," we'll probably get along well.

We shape it
I write a full draft; we revise together until it's right.

I deliver it live, or coach your chosen person to.
Let's write the beginning of your story.
Tell me a little about the two of you. There's no obligation.
